CASE TYPE GUIDELINES:
Household income must be at or below poverty level guidelines. We do not duplicate services that are available elsewhere in our county at little or no cost (e.g. paternity and establishment of child support available through prosecutor’s office). We do not handle fee-generating cases, torts, bankruptcy, wills and/or estates, cases where an attorney will be appointed by the court (e.g. criminal, contempt for non-payment of support), or education cases.
We handle all types of family law issues except for those specifically excluded above and legal separation and name change.
